Magic Beam Spell VFX created in Unreal Engine 5 using the Niagara System.
The effect unfolds in clear stages, beginning with a summoning circle that anchors the spell, followed by the emergence of a central energy beam. Swirling particles rotate around the beam to reinforce motion and focus, while flying rocks and secondary forces add weight and scale to the cast. Decals and fire particles are layered in to ground the effect and enhance its impact in the environment.
Designed as a modular, real-time system with an emphasis on readability, timing, and performance.
